Welp.........

Let me see. Who am I? I am Mindy. The one that is always behind the camera. I am the one that is unapologetically goofy and do not do the things by the book. I am the one that has been doing this now for 10ish years and have only moved about an inch but refuses to give up. I am the one that is always listening and learning and most of the time overthinking ALL the situations. I can be your best friend in the drop of a hat. I always overshoot. My so called mini sessions always turn into a full blown hang out with tons of laughs and photos. I definitely do this for the joy of it and not the money. But money always talks. LOL I may have one of the biggest squirrel brains in the US. Its exhausting being me, but I would not want to be anyone else.

I never intended to be an "influencer". I'm still not sure that's really what I should so call call it? But that is what I am going with right now. The only reason I say this is because I feel like I have started sharing more of my honest self with others and have gotten great feedback from my tribe. I have struggled so much with wanting to know who I am as a Wife, Mom, Business Owner, Friend, and myself. I mean lets be honest, that is why my photography hasn't been doing any better that it has been. Doing what everyone else does, does NOT get you where YOU need to be. You have to learn how to do your thing. Learn to be yourself and let it flow into your work. And know this, you will not be for everyone and that is 100% ok. Because the ones that love your work are the ones that you have touched in some way. That may not be the best way to put it, but it's the only words I have right now. See transparent!

What I am trying to get at is this, no matter if you are starting a business, or just trying to figure out your next 20 years, you have to learn who you are. Not as anyone else, but YOU. Figure out your core values. What is important to you? What is passionate to you? Personal goals. And then just start living it. Is scary but it is honorable.

Extra, yep maybe. But again that is who I am. I love what I do. I support what I do. No matter the amount, or lack thereof, Facebook likes. So if you wanna walk around with your beautiful logo that you love, then girl do it. Share with me. I wanna see!
