It is true what the pinterest quotes say...
No hour of life is wasted that is spent in the saddle. I have spent many of hours in my saddle, and though my butt can sometimes be extremely sore, there will never be a regret. I have met so many people through horses and Photography. Some have become lifelong friends, others a quick meet up for a ride, and some, just to here the crazy cowboy stories.
So when my friends and I heard about this cool cow chasing game at Love Valley, we were so there! I am so ready to get back out there again this year and do it all over again.

What is it you ask? Well it it what you would do if you were a rancher. You have to sort the cattle. Say they needed medicine, or to separate the heifers from the bulls, rotate pastures, sell them. You have to be able to efficiently sort them and then drive them. And if you have ever been around a cow, they aren't the brightest animal. LOL JK they can be a handful and you may have to move them around obstacles. Fallen trees, fence, etc and then you get to pen them. They have to be contained somewhere, so that's the final step of the set up. Oh and its timed. Did I mention efficiency. Yep so stinking fun! Especially when its a team of three of your bestest friends! Ugh can we hurry up and have one already. I miss my friends.
