This is why I always say my passions collide.
Because I love the western way of life. Like I love everything about it. The horses, the hard work, the dirt. The sometimes shit show of it all. I love it. It's me. I mean I am not a real Cowgirl that lives on a ranch or a farm, but I will always consider myself one. So when I can be around capturing the moments of things that I love, it brings more emotion to the imagine. Also it makes my heart so full. I do not get stressed doing photos of the things I love. That what I look for in my business and my friends. My life. I choose the things that are going to fulfill me. Things that are going to keep me on the straight and narrow. And that a line with my core values. Things that will keep me following my dream. So if that sounds like you, you are my people. You are the ones I want on my blogs and in my corner.
Whether you are looking for people to photograph or looking for a new friend or even people that will support your new online business, you have to know who you are so you know who you attract. This just might be the reason I am not doing photography full time. One reason being, it has taken me a long time to learn who I am as a person and how to be ok with not being for everyone. Two, I am not for everyone. And guess who is ok with that? That would be me. I am ok with not doing all the things by the book. I am ok with taking the images that I can fall in love with and then sharing them for others to see. One day, and I mean one day very soon people will realize who I am. For now, I am totally ok with the few clients that I do have that support me. Driving hours away to help you get ready for your session. Over shooting your galleries so you will have plenty to choose from. I am ok with telling you all I am still learning. 10-12 years later. I will forever be learning. And I will forever stay true to who I am!
