Boys will be boys.

Really, where do these boys come up with these things. I mean I get that they all drive pieces of shit, but at least they have wheels. Honestly though, I really believe they like their trucks. Not because its a way of transportation but a way of life for them. It's who they are. It's what they live for. They work for. So for these boys it is more than a shit box to them. It is memories. Truck meets. Photos. A night out. Good friends. Lots of laughs. And all the secrets boys tell when Mommy isn't looking. Freedom. A way out.

So next time you see a bunch of redneck boys hanging in a parking lot with Mud filled tires and rust on their hoods, just know what it means to them. As long as these guys are being respectful and good citizens, leave them be. Let them be teenage boys. Let them figure out that the whole world is not a shit show. Hopefully, it will stay safe enough for them to stay where they are. I pray that this doesn't get taken away from them.
