He has so many names, bless hims. This dude man. He has been something else. Let me start from the beginning.........
Eighteen and finally have the money to buy my own horse, so the search begins. Mike and I make the trip to Lexington to test drive a young red headed appendix gelding. So Mike and I go on a small trail ride. Thats right, Mike rode with me at one time. So here we are enjoying a nice afternoon stroll, and we decide we wanna go a little faster, that was a dumb idea. I think this young gelding got confused or super excited one. This home boy decided he wasn't doing it and lit into bucking like a NFR bronc. Mike said when he turned back I was flying through the air like super women. He said he never seen anything like it, and I never seen him move so fast. HAHA Guess who came home with us. Thats right. Now let me tell ya, that wasn't the end of this mans tantrum, he gave some boys a run for their money. But man, Im so glad we hung in there. He has been the best horse ever. Taught many lessons. Rode many of miles. And made a few peoples day at a nursing home. Now he is 33 and living the best life. Eating a full buffet everyday, swimming in the pond, harassing the mares, and getting all the lovings from the kids. His life is Golden.
