I want you to take a very close look at this little itty bitty tractor in this photo. This tractor was donated by James River to sell raffle tickets to raise money for a Family of the WNC floods. Not only does this event bring in local farmers, it brings in people with big hearts. There is so much more to a Plow day than just digging in the dirt. Back to the story. There was a family that came down to participate from WNC, who I might add was directly affected by the floods. She bought a raffle and won this tractor. (chills) She then gave the tractor back and it was auctioned off. I really really wished I knew the total amount, but I know it was over $1000 that this little tractor raised for WNC. This is why I love being a part of this community. I may just be the Photographer, but man (chills) the stories I get to share with you all. This is what and who I want to be surrounded by. So if your child wants a tractor, horse, cow, show goats, milk na dang cow, please please allow them to try. This is how our children should be raised. IMO
